FPS takes 2 wins at Ultimate Reno Combat 27
FPS fighters Javier Trujillo and Jake Ramos competed at the Ultimate Reno Combat 27: Unequalled event in September. Both achieved commanding victories.
Javier Trjillo, a dominant ground-and-pound machine, took the fight the distance and spent most of the match in the mount or dominant top positions. All three judges scoring the fight 30-27 for Javier's first pro win.
Jose Quinterro put on a good show against FPS fighter Jake Ramos, knocking him down early. However, Jake showed off some of his Jiu Jitsu expertise and turned the fight quickly to his favor, ending it just after the one minute mark of the first round with a decisive armbar submission.
